Balenciaga Praline MOTO Jacket

Picked it up on over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful the praline was in person versus the black (mind you I'm ordering these blindly, directly from the SA without having viewed them or tried them on).  Extremely happy with my purchase but not so much with the hefty price tag (increased $50 dollars).  I'm telling myself this is a long term investment ;)  My man ain't falling for it.

I just recalled one thing that I wasn't too pleased about which was the leather on the zipper tags attached to the sleeves.  Has anyone else noticed that this is poorly crafted.  Mine came with the leather cut crookedly and then glued together.  I would assume with the Balenciaga name that these would be finely stitched at the edges.  That was a bit of a turn off especially since I'm a detail oriented person and these type of flaws tend to jump out at me.  Anyhow, my lovely SA is looking into a replacement so until then it sits in its garment bag.

Will reveal soon...

Celine Smooth

Here's my creative yet sultry approach to my very first Celine purchase and reveal.  I must say its just as gorgeous in person than in pictures.

I struggled between the gold and silver hardware for a couple of days.  Why?  Well I'm a fan of gold hardware period but weary of the maintenance that comes with owning a lambskin purse.  And the gold hardware with black leather only comes in smooth, at least as far as I know, although I swear I've seen some pics of what seems to be pebbled leather with gold.  Anyways, I can't bear to see a scratch or blemish without stressing about it for hours so after many hours of research on PF I finally decided on the gold.  My extensive research concluded that the smooth leather is of higher quality versus the pebbled as the pebbled is lined with faux suede, whereas the smooth is lambskin in and out.

So the next morning I decided to call the SA while out with my darling boyfriend and long story short he tells me not to because he had secretly placed the order before he came to pick me up and it was being prepared to be shipped out.  Foiled his surprise...again!  I am sooo notorious for this-eek.  Well, I was surprised nonetheless and even happier when I saw the package in front of me later that week.

Still haven't taken this baby out for a walk yet...she sits patiently in her home.

*Next on the wishlist, the fluorescent pink mini...perfect for the S/S season.

CL Black Patent Pigalle's

Ordered these beauties directly from the CL website and was surprised to find a beautiful pink envelope enclosed with a note and of course the receipt.  I've never tried these on in person I was a little deterred by the amount of toe cleavage but it's still a sexy beast nonetheless.  It's a keeper, can't wait for my nudies to arrive in a week!

Christian Louboutin Tortoise Shell Bianca's

So sexy.  I freaked out when I saw these at Nordstrom awhile back and knew I had to have them!
Gawd I just love me some tortoise shell, just so incredibly beautiful and sexy.  Well that and the red sole just can't be beat.

These have been sitting pretty in my closet waiting patiently to be broken out and broken in!

Special thanks to my darlin' for these *muah*

Balenciaga Giant Work Bag

Went to Neimans this past Saturday and picked up my very first Balenciaga bag!  I did my research prior to entering the store with 3 colors in mind.  It was going to be between the black, white or red Work bag with the classic hardware.  Little did I know I'd end up walking out with a completely different bag in hand and I couldn't be any happier.  I'm already thinking of which color to purchase next.  So not good for the wallet sigh...there are just too many colors and hardware varieties to select from.  I can see why these bags are so popular amongst the celebrity crowd.  Not only are they durable but truly practical in every way.  They're great for casual wear but can be dressed up for a night out.  Say hello to my little BIG friend:
